BUSINESS PREPAREDNESS IS VITAL TO ECONOMIC RECOVERY
Please support YOUR community as we ALL prepare together to help Lindon City businesses prepare for, respond to, and recover from a disaster.
After a disaster, many businesses NEVER recover enough to open their doors again. It is critical to the overall recovery of a community for its business sector to get up and running as rapidly as possible. We call this business continuity planning.
Economic recovery can only happen when businesses are open and people have gone back to work.
Business continuity planning can be a challenge on top of the already busy day-to-day work of running a profitable business. Take that challenge!
Lindon City businesses can be better prepared.
- How resilient are you?
- How fast can your employees get back to work?
- How quickly can you resume normal operations?
- In what ways can you reduce downtime?
- What damages might you incur? How will you repair them?
- Can you give back? What could your business donate or help provide in a recovery situation?

Performance of a lifeline!

During the 2011 Drill Down for Safety, the School of Ballet Arts "performed" an evacuation drill. They also took the time to discuss emergency preparedness and some things to do during a disaster. In 2012, the dance studio plans to step up their preparedness by participating in the Drill Down for Safety event again and by creating an emergency plan. Good job!
